Mayhem in Wales: A Tinyplot

Owain Glyndwr has raised the Welsh citizenry to revolution against the
English oppressors. The border is no longer safe, with regular skirmishes.
The English in Wales are being driven out. As a simple Welsh peasant comes
to Lincoln, chaos ensues. Is he a spy? Does he plot evil? Will he live
long enough for it to matter?

Murder and war are in the air. But who would want to kill him? English
guards? Someone who had been driven out? A fellow welshman, holding a
grudge? Or something else?

Plan a reason why you might want to kill him, send it to LadyAce on mudmail,
and be a suspect in this tinyplot! Planning meetings will be held all Friday
evening, for those wanting to join in, and on Saturday at 2pm, just before
the event, the murderer will be informed. Come and join! Those of the
non-murderous type can investigate, in this experiment in a self-forming
tinyplot!

Notes from the UnderHound

As my bestest buddy in the whole world might say, "Bon jour, mes amies!"
I'm sure none of you folks have any idea who I am, and that's not a problem
with me, I'm not much of an attention hound, and you might find it kind of
hard to notice me when you got a 6 foot tall nun with a shaved head and a
penchant for slaying undead smiling at you. I understand my station in life,
no bones about it!

So I thought I'd give everyone the lowdown on what I've been seein',
since I think its pretty neato. And, hey, I might win the Nobel Prize for
this piece of literature... the best part is, I REALLY saw all this weird
stuff go down!

It all started when I was rescued by this strangely attractive butch
nun. I won't go into the details of the rescue, let's just say I was about to
be lunch for some pathetic excuses for blood-suckers who were having trouble
beating up humans for food. That was over in France, which, as it turns out,
is where my buddy is from. And I didn't ask her about her past, and she
didn't ask about mine (thank God, cause let me tell ya, MY confession would
take -forever-.)

We wandered around for awhile. Turns out she was a bit of a rogue nun,
her convent had been burned to the ground by Saracens, so she was sort of
looking for another order. In the meantime, we sought out and beat the living
snot out of undead and other pretty darned evil critters. See, I got this
real powerful nose, and I can sniff out ANYTHING. The nun? Well, she's got
this real powerful sword, and she can beat up ANYTHING. Together, we're
pretty tough. Well, I'm pretty tough, the nun, she's too nice sometimes.
Always asking evil things if they want to repent their sins and all. I say
just whack 'em and let God sort 'em out. But hey, she's the one with the
dogfood.

Anyhow, we're wandering around and somehow end up in Ancient Rome...no
lie! Ancient Rome! Ain't that crazy? This nun can TRAVEL THROUGH TIME! Among
other things. It didn't take much to convert me after seeing some of the
crazy stunts this chic pulls. So what was I saying? Oh, yeah. So we end up in
Rome, and the nun (oh, her name is Trinity d'Arpajon, by the way, don't ask
me how to pronounce that last name, all I can do is woof and howl) meets up
with this pretty cool lookin' knight fella who calls himself Tancred. They
exchange some formalities, blah blah blah. I was a little skeptical at first,
but the guy just smelled GOOD, if you know what I mean. Not like some of the
scumbags who usually approach her. Turns out this knight is what they call a
Templar. He's the head of this holy order of knights who go around doing
pretty much the same stuff me and the nun had been doing. AND they were
Catholic! Big plus, cause the nun is Catholic, and all. You know, big into
Jesus and salvation and forgiveness and slaying those who oppose the greater
good. You get the picture. So they hit it off pretty well, and the next thing
you know, me and the nun are Knights of the Temple. Hell yeah! I was hopin'
to maybe get ahold of some of them wafers they pass around at mass, cause
they look like pretty tasty treats if you know what I mean, but the nun just
about ripped my ears out of my head when I investigated the possibility of
doing it, but I still think its a pretty cool gig.

Well, there's a bunch more to tell, but the nun's got me on a pretty
tight leash and we got some work to do, so maybe if your interested I'll
write you again and tell you all about her tryin' to save the soul of this
vampire who wanted to have his curse removed! Man, things get pretty hairy.

Until then, keep your nose clean, cause the last thing you want is me and my
best pal on your tail.

The Old Ways and the New Blood

Well as some of you may remember I have been gone for a very long time. In
that time I have spent many hours training and deciding what to do with my
long lost Knight skills, only to return to a world where it seems the code
and the ideals are a simple disguise to a guild of corrupt and obscene posers
who hold none of it dear.

And so it is proper and correct that I have disavowed myself of that circle
of people and now roam the world on my own an outcast from all that was
supposed to be chivalrous.

Clwyd's Pronunciation Guide

There has been some difficulty understanding me, so I thought I might write up
a handy guide to Welsh phrases!

Only the most common, mind. I'm not going into details, as the Saeson
shouldn't be learning the poetic beauty of the Welsh language in full, as
they could never understand it!
