There's only a little over a week left of this year's Summer Odyssey.&lt;br /&gt;
As we're winding up this year's events, please keep in mind that the&lt;br /&gt;
builders welcome your ideas and comments throughout the year, so as&lt;br /&gt;
you explore, please tell the builders about the things you find that&lt;br /&gt;
you like as well as the things that bother and annoy you. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This goes for code changes and other scheduled events as well. If you&lt;br /&gt;
sit back and take the things you like and appreciate for granted, we&lt;br /&gt;
won't know what type of things you like and appreciate or even miss&lt;br /&gt;
when they're not done for a while. So positive feedback is just as&lt;br /&gt;
necessary as negative comments, even if it's not as &amp;quot;fun to needle&lt;br /&gt;
the imms&amp;quot; with.&lt;br /&gt;

interested in applying to become an immortal, the next round of apps&lt;br /&gt;
will be in March. Be sure to speak to the appropriate department head&lt;br /&gt;
about your proposed project _before_ you submit your application.&lt;br /&gt;

A: Oh right. Invis makes pk tourneys realllly boring. No casting&lt;br /&gt;
   invis.&lt;br /&gt;

Q: What about weapons? Mages can have weapons from spells. Combat is&lt;br /&gt;
too much based on specials if there are no weapons.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A: I've decided to include weapons, you're still naked if you have no eq&lt;br /&gt;
and a sword, after all :)&lt;br /&gt;

A: I have to draw the line at snipers. People can have one thing in the&lt;br /&gt;

Runs are Difficult enough, Having Pkill characters on runs getting&lt;br /&gt;
attacked just makes them more difficult. Pkillers going on runs with&lt;br /&gt;
triggers are just askin for trouble.  When you dont have a mob&lt;br /&gt;
specified as a target with your triggers you more often then not goin&lt;br /&gt;
to hit a pkiller in the group and while its funny to the guy who&lt;br /&gt;
lives its not really all that fun for whomever lives.  Having to&lt;br /&gt;
re-enter into the area with agg mobs and such is a pain and as you&lt;br /&gt;
die 2 or 3 times from somebody making a little mistake its often not&lt;br /&gt;
very fun so if you must go on runs with triggs and your PK you should&lt;br /&gt;
prolly at least watch your screen :P&lt;br /&gt;

As I looked out the frost tinted window of the cold asylum I thought&lt;br /&gt;
of my escape. I slowly glanced nearer to the cold metal door, sitting&lt;br /&gt;
up looking sideways through the thin steal bars I could still see the&lt;br /&gt;
enormous guard waiting just outside. I once again concentrated on the&lt;br /&gt;
outside, I had tried escaping twice before but I thought to myself&lt;br /&gt;
today it would happen today I would escape.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I struggled and freed myself from the terrible white prison of a&lt;br /&gt;
jacket they made us wear and hid near the doorway covered in a small&lt;br /&gt;
white sheet. I let out a loud shriek, as the guard looked up and&lt;br /&gt;
walked nearer to my room I began to grin and just waited. The guard&lt;br /&gt;
looked in the window realizing nobody was in there opened up the door&lt;br /&gt;
and saw me under the small sheet. I jumped up throwing the sheet over&lt;br /&gt;
his head. His loud screams were muffled by the sheet and he began to&lt;br /&gt;
fall as he hit the ground I had realized he was dead I snickered to&lt;br /&gt;
myself as I looked over his dead body.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I quickly grabbed his baton and walked down the dark grayed hallways&lt;br /&gt;
of the Asylum. I saw another guard, I quickly hid behind the wall as&lt;br /&gt;
he walked further in my direction. To his surprise I jumped out from&lt;br /&gt;
behind the wall and hit him in the face with the baton. I cackled&lt;br /&gt;
loudly throughout the halls as I beat him over and over again. I&lt;br /&gt;
started to run faster and faster through the halls i was almost&lt;br /&gt;
freed. I saw the the bright doors and the light shining through I was&lt;br /&gt;
almost there with the last of my energy i sprinted to the doors.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
As I reached the glistening doors I slowed down to open them as my&lt;br /&gt;
hand touch the handle I felt a small sting in the back of my&lt;br /&gt;
neck....THUMP...I had blacked out.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I awoke to the screams of the terrible Asylum as i glanced about&lt;br /&gt;
nervously I realized that I was strapped to a chair and was being&lt;br /&gt;
watched by three terrifying guards. I let out a loud scream echoing&lt;br /&gt;
through the entire Asylum. I thought to myself with a grin on my face&lt;br /&gt;
next time... Next time I will be Free!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

                  Dino's Autobiography, Chapter One&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It was a beautiful March morning. The snow was still frosty and white&lt;br /&gt;
from a recent blizzard but today the sun had come out and the sky was&lt;br /&gt;
an incredible shade of light blue. I was born. Yeah, gross, huh? Well&lt;br /&gt;
I was the average kid. Kind of evil I might add. I enjoyed hitting my&lt;br /&gt;
uncle on the head with a rattle, pulling my aunts hair and earrings,&lt;br /&gt;
painting the living room with shaving cream (that was my favorite)&lt;br /&gt;
and bringing in mud pies and putting them on my parent's bed! It was&lt;br /&gt;
a wonderful childhood. One day when I was around 4 years of age, I&lt;br /&gt;
was taken away from my parents and put into a small cell in some&lt;br /&gt;
child prison. The doctors suspected my vicious behavior as a symptom&lt;br /&gt;
of rabies. My parents did put up quite a fuss when I was taken away&lt;br /&gt;
but nothing could get me out now. So I lived in this cell. Filthy.&lt;br /&gt;
Dusty. Dark. Murky. No windows. Nothing. Days were long. It was like&lt;br /&gt;
being in a coma. Nothing. Nobody. Rarely would I get fed, and when I&lt;br /&gt;
did on special occasions, it would only be some moldy bread on a tin&lt;br /&gt;
plate. I didn't eat that. I started to lose track of days, forget&lt;br /&gt;
what the outside looked like. Birds, people, trees. Well let me tell&lt;br /&gt;
you, sitting in a metal box for a really long time is not fun! I&lt;br /&gt;
started to develop this thing. My beautiful sparkling blue eyes&lt;br /&gt;
turned to an eerie crimson color. I craved blood since I wasn't fed.&lt;br /&gt;
If I were let out of my cell, anyone within eye distance would flee&lt;br /&gt;
with horrible bite marks all over! The doctors and workers decided to&lt;br /&gt;
put me into a part of the building called 'Intempesta Nox' for people&lt;br /&gt;
like me. I was happy there. Received food every day. Had a nicer&lt;br /&gt;
cell. I found out that I had lived in this prison for almost four&lt;br /&gt;
years. I was now eight years old.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
One day, after a year of Intempesta Nox, as I was talking to a clan&lt;br /&gt;
member, a group of workers came into the cell and announced that&lt;br /&gt;
someone was here to see me. I was immediately put on chains and&lt;br /&gt;
walked to the lobby. The lobby was a large room with many pictures&lt;br /&gt;
and papers hanging on the wall. A large desk stood in the right&lt;br /&gt;
corner. There were many stacks of papers on it and a chair behind it.&lt;br /&gt;
There were two doors; one leading to the outside world and one&lt;br /&gt;
leading to the cells. In front of the desk stood a couch and a couple&lt;br /&gt;
of chairs. Behind the couch I noticed a man. He was pretty tall, dark&lt;br /&gt;
hair, sparkling blue eyes like I had a while ago, well built, fairly&lt;br /&gt;
strong, not too old but older then me, decent weapon and equipment to&lt;br /&gt;
go with it. He had a caring smile on his face. I knew him&lt;br /&gt;
immediately. From where? I don't know. When did I meet him? I also&lt;br /&gt;
don't know. Just somehow, he seemed very farmiliar to me. I&lt;br /&gt;
considered espcaping all the chains and guards but I wouldn't get far&lt;br /&gt;
so I just stood still. The guards removed my chains and left the&lt;br /&gt;
room. I guess that was a signal that I can start talking. I&lt;br /&gt;
approached him uneasily and cautiously.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
'Who?' I said to him as I walked in circles around him.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
'Jaenrik' He answered back, not scared at all!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
'Purpose?' I questioned again.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
'To get you back into the real world' He said. At this moment, it&lt;br /&gt;
seemed exactly like a fairy tale. Well not exactly but similar. The&lt;br /&gt;
girl was stuck somewhere, and someone came to rescue her. Except&lt;br /&gt;
usually the girl is a princess and is stuck in some tower and the&lt;br /&gt;
person who rescues her is a prince. I was definitely not a princess,&lt;br /&gt;
and I was definitely not stuck in a tower. And I'll tell you that the&lt;br /&gt;
person in front of me was definitely not a prince.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
'Who?' I asked again with confusion.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
'Sit' He ordered sternly. I sat down and waited for an explanation.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
'I am Jaenrik. I am your father.' he told me. 'Five years ago you&lt;br /&gt;
were taken away from your mother and me and ever since, I have been&lt;br /&gt;
trying to find you and get you back.' This was hard to believe. It&lt;br /&gt;
took him five years?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
'Well you found me.' I said with some attitude. I stood up and looked&lt;br /&gt;
at him. There was some family resemblance. 'Well you're my father.' I&lt;br /&gt;
stated. 'What of my mother?'&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
'I haven't heard from her since the day you were taken away.' He&lt;br /&gt;
said, obviously still disappointed. 'Well not exactly that day. I&lt;br /&gt;
woke up the next morning and she wasn't there. I searched the whole&lt;br /&gt;
house and she wasn't there. I searched parks and looked around the&lt;br /&gt;
house for any signs that might mean that she'll come back and I found&lt;br /&gt;
nothing.' He looked down at his feet and continued. 'I called the&lt;br /&gt;
police and some neighbors and they said that they haven't seen her.&lt;br /&gt;
That was five years ago.' Jaenrik looked up. 'I assume that she's not&lt;br /&gt;
coming back.' He sighed heavily. I was quite disappointed too.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
'What do you think happened to her?' I asked curiously.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
'I don't know and I don't wish to think about it.' He stated. I&lt;br /&gt;
wasn't exactly happy that he was here and I'm getting out. It was&lt;br /&gt;
pretty nice after I moved over to the Intempesta Nox group.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
'Well I guess that we should get moving then, eh?' I said quietly.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
'Well then.' He paused. 'Let's go.' He stood up and I stood up and we&lt;br /&gt;
were off.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

                    The One Boy and the Kidnapper&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Once apon a time, a boy woke up and like always put on his shoes and&lt;br /&gt;
all his clothes and one day he told his mom, &amp;quot;I'm going to go to pick&lt;br /&gt;
some strawberries&amp;quot; and his mom said, &amp;quot;Ok&amp;quot;. So the boy went outside&lt;br /&gt;
and was picking strawberries and a guy drove by and said, &amp;quot;Come get&lt;br /&gt;
in the car I'll show you where to pick some real strawberries.&amp;quot; So&lt;br /&gt;
the boy got in the car, but the boy didn;t know the man was a&lt;br /&gt;
kidnapper. The man took the boy to his house and threw him down in&lt;br /&gt;
his basement with no food or water. He was down there for several&lt;br /&gt;
days until his mom got really worried and called the police. The&lt;br /&gt;
police came and the mom told them everything and they put out a&lt;br /&gt;
search warrant on the boy. After they looked for a few days they gave&lt;br /&gt;
up. The boy was really scared and it was a good thing he knew how to&lt;br /&gt;
pick locks and at night time the boy picked the lock very carefuly&lt;br /&gt;
and escaped. He ran to the police and told them, &amp;quot;There is a very bad&lt;br /&gt;
person who lives down the road at the cemetery and the police went&lt;br /&gt;
and checked and they found the man after searching his house -- he&lt;br /&gt;
was hiding in a hole in his wall. The boy got taken back home to his&lt;br /&gt;
mother and his mother always watched when he got strawberries. &lt;br /&gt;
