events scheduled for today before we move on to industrial. The&lt;br /&gt;
Medieval Trivial Challenge will begin at 3pm system time and the&lt;br /&gt;
Gathering of Warlords PK Tourney for pure fighter types -- no chant&lt;br /&gt;

The old stuck-in-the-order-that-Ptah-thought-of-things prompt is&lt;br /&gt;
history. You can now set up your own prompt in any order, and pretty&lt;br /&gt;
much any fasion you wish. You can include any tags or other arbitary&lt;br /&gt;
text that you want as well as using the codes below to display a&lt;br /&gt;
number of character specific values.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
So if you just wanted a simple prompt or that displayed only your hit&lt;br /&gt;
points and max hit points, you could do this:&lt;br /&gt;

a quick reference card for what code to use to get what value&lt;br /&gt;
displayed.&lt;br /&gt;

To get you started if you haven't already played with it, there are&lt;br /&gt;
some examples below to give you some ideas. You can also check to see&lt;br /&gt;
who may be sharing their formats online with PROMPT PREVIEW&lt;br /&gt;

Another new command is SHOWGROUP. This command does variations on the&lt;br /&gt;
GROUP command with no arguments.  To use it, you can specify full&lt;br /&gt;
names of people in the group. If you do this, ONLY those group&lt;br /&gt;
members will show up. If you are in Fred's group with Bob and John,&lt;br /&gt;
and you issue the following command:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     SHOWGROUP fred john&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Your display will look like this:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

Last week's Spellcaster Spectacular brought wit and wizardry to&lt;br /&gt;
center stage today as Brutus triumphed over the competition!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In the first round, young Merlock bravely fought Bacchanal but lost.&lt;br /&gt;
Dharma triumphed over Saga, Brutus beat Mercedes, Benjamin won his&lt;br /&gt;
battle with Neptune, and Aisha beat Cypri.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Five people remained at the beginning of round 1: Bacchanal, Brutus,&lt;br /&gt;
Benjamin, Aisha, and Dharma. Dharma had a BYE due ot un-even numbers,&lt;br /&gt;
Brutus beat Bacchanal and Aisha beat Benjamin.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This left three people for the final round, to be fought round-robin&lt;br /&gt;
double-elimination style between Brutus, Dharma, and Aisha. Brutus&lt;br /&gt;
beat Dharma, Dharma beat Aisha, and Brutus eliminated first Aisha and&lt;br /&gt;
then Dharma to take the title.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
               Congratulations all! Bravely fought!&lt;br /&gt;

Briarwen nervously gave a tug to her blouse as she approached the&lt;br /&gt;
large iron gate of Carian Trag. She stopped a moment to smooth her&lt;br /&gt;
skirt, as well. Meeting Royalty to talk business was intimidating,&lt;br /&gt;
even to a girl as brash as Briarwen.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
As she crossed the drawbridge, she couldn't help but give a wink to&lt;br /&gt;
the guards on duty, who grinned lewdly back at her. She stopped to&lt;br /&gt;
flirt for a moment with a particularly handsome one, before&lt;br /&gt;
announcing that she had an appointment with the Queen.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The guards clambered over each other to be chosen to accompany her&lt;br /&gt;
into the great hall, until finally, the Captain on duty announced&lt;br /&gt;
that HE would escort Briarwen. She just smiled smugly to herself and&lt;br /&gt;
thought to how well this was going to work out.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Briarwen laughed and winked as the Captain held open the door for her&lt;br /&gt;
and surreptitiously pinched her as she walked by. 'Yes, indeed.' she&lt;br /&gt;
though, 'this could be VERY lucrative.'&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The captain announced her arrival as she entered the Great Hall.&lt;br /&gt;
Briarwen found this a bit intimidating, but was doing her best not to&lt;br /&gt;
show it, so she winked at the soldiers again and put a little extra&lt;br /&gt;
wiggle into her walk as she sauntered past him towards the thrones at&lt;br /&gt;
the other end of the room.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Court etiquette not being a part of her upbringing, she wasn't quite&lt;br /&gt;
sure what to do when she reached the foot of the throne. After a&lt;br /&gt;
moments hesitation, she decided a curtsey probably wouldn't be a bad&lt;br /&gt;
idea, and so did her best imitation of one. It might be noted, that&lt;br /&gt;
the young guard standing in the doorway behind her needed all his&lt;br /&gt;
self control not to let his eyes bug out of his head or emit a low&lt;br /&gt;
whistle as she did so.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
'Briarwen!' Queen MoiraGwyn greeted her, 'How nice of you to come&lt;br /&gt;
visit!' The Queen's smile seemed genuine, but Briarwen rarely trusted&lt;br /&gt;
a female who seemed glad to see her. Most of them were too worried&lt;br /&gt;
about their husband's reactions to her.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Briarwen returned the smile. 'You have a lovely castle,' she said.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
'Thank you.' MoiraGwyn beamed at the room about her. It was obvious&lt;br /&gt;
she had spent many hours decorating the castle to make it not just a&lt;br /&gt;
castle but a home. Even though Briarwen had never really had a home&lt;br /&gt;
like that, she could recognize there was more in MoiraGwyn's pride in&lt;br /&gt;
her home than just, well, pride. She didn't know what it was, though&lt;br /&gt;
to the rest of us it would be fairly obvious that the element she&lt;br /&gt;
couldn't recognize was love.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Feeling these niceties really were not getting her very far, Briarwen&lt;br /&gt;
decided to get down to business. ' Yes, it really is a lovely castle.&lt;br /&gt;
But you're probably wondering what brought me here today...' Briarwen&lt;br /&gt;
pause to throw in her most charming, non-seductive smile, ' You see,&lt;br /&gt;
I've noticed you've gotten quite a number of guards working for you&lt;br /&gt;
now. And it strikes me, that they need some.. entertainment in their&lt;br /&gt;
off hours, no? To keep them out of trouble? So they don't go&lt;br /&gt;
bothering the locals...'&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Looking worried, Queen MoiraGwyn asked, 'What type of um...&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;quot;entertainment&amp;quot; are you thinking they might need?' Queen MoiraGwyn&lt;br /&gt;
was quietly fearing the woman was trying to turn them into a brothel.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Briarwen smiled sweetly at the Queen. 'A tavern... a place where they&lt;br /&gt;
could relax, buy a drink, maybe a few performers could be performing&lt;br /&gt;
some music? You see, this way, they don't have to leave the castle to&lt;br /&gt;
get a drink, nor will they annoy the locals if they happen to drink a&lt;br /&gt;
little too much.' Briarwen tried to smile convincingly at the Queen.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Still looking a bit worried but, not as worried as she was, the Queen&lt;br /&gt;
answered 'I am concerned about them drinking whilst on duty... but...&lt;br /&gt;
a place for them to gather that is open to outsiders but yet still&lt;br /&gt;
near the castle...' She seemed to ponder it for a moment.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
'Of course not while on duty, but, the point is to have it within the&lt;br /&gt;
castle, so they don't annoy the locals. I do hate to tell tales, but&lt;br /&gt;
there have been rumours about the guards behaviour while they are off&lt;br /&gt;
duty. I'm really just trying to help you out, while making a little&lt;br /&gt;
honest money myself.'&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Queen MoiraGwyn looked rather dubious and couldn't even recall the&lt;br /&gt;
last time a guard was even OUT of the castle... 'Perhaps I should&lt;br /&gt;
speak with Emrysia or try and reach Rowane before deciding. I'll get&lt;br /&gt;
back to you with an answer in the near future.'&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Briarwen smiled her friendliest smile and mentally cursed the fact&lt;br /&gt;
that the ruler of this kingdom was female. 'Really, it wouldn't be a&lt;br /&gt;
problem, we could set strict hours of business, and of course any on&lt;br /&gt;
duty guard caught on the premises would be severly punished, and if&lt;br /&gt;
you're worried about my personal influence on the men here, I'm truly&lt;br /&gt;
just trying to make an honest living. Surely you wouldn't deny me&lt;br /&gt;
that? Wouldn't you like to be the one responsible for helping me turn&lt;br /&gt;
over a new leaf?'&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Queen was obviously still not convinced, but her resolve seemed&lt;br /&gt;
to be weakening, so Briarwen continued, ' I really do want to get out&lt;br /&gt;
of my currrent occupation, maybe settle down.. But really, the only&lt;br /&gt;
things I know are men and drinks.' Briarwen put on what she hoped was&lt;br /&gt;
a suitably convincing look of sincerity and added, ' So you see, this&lt;br /&gt;
really would be the perfect solution and beneficial for both of us.&lt;br /&gt;
Besides... think of all the taxes!'&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
MoiraGwyn bit her lip. A thoughtful expression playing on her brows.&lt;br /&gt;
'Let me think about it, and I will let you know,' she finally said to&lt;br /&gt;
the barmaid.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Briarwen sensed it was time to let it be and not push her luck. She'd&lt;br /&gt;
done her best to convince the Queen of the validity of the idea and&lt;br /&gt;
only time would tell.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
After Briarwen had left and she was back in the comfort of her&lt;br /&gt;
chambers, MoiraGwyn pondered back to conversations with Sister&lt;br /&gt;
Trinity about Briarwen. The dear sister seems to feel there was much&lt;br /&gt;
hope for the girl and that perhaps all that was needed was some&lt;br /&gt;
guidance. But this one was far from a small child to take in, and her&lt;br /&gt;
lucrative past was made off of skills she wasnt all too sure she&lt;br /&gt;
wanted in the castle. As well Emrysia would pitch a fit, that this&lt;br /&gt;
person, known for seducing men, was in her home... Had she not&lt;br /&gt;
already entered into an uncomfortable room with her and Robar before?&lt;br /&gt;
Hmm... maybe the best place for this one WOULD be keeping an eye on&lt;br /&gt;
her. And in this case, Emrysia would agree. As well anything that did&lt;br /&gt;
happen could be carefully monitored. A small entertainment facility&lt;br /&gt;
near the gates... Fingers rested at her temples, she was getting a&lt;br /&gt;
headache from the mere thought of this all. Where was Rowane when she&lt;br /&gt;
needed him... Ok, a small building and we'd see what happens.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I mean really, what was the worst that could happen...?&lt;br /&gt;
