I hope everyone who celebrates is having a good holiday weekend.&lt;br /&gt;

However, I've seen a lot of people complaining of how bored they are&lt;br /&gt;
again recently. And I remembered at least two articles covering general&lt;br /&gt;

You can easily search the website by pointing your browsers to the&lt;br /&gt;

in the topic you want to search for in the box by the SEEK button and&lt;br /&gt;
then hit SEEK. You'll get a listing of pages in which your topic appears.&lt;br /&gt;
There's a wealth of information in the old issues and in the old Q&amp;amp;A logs&lt;br /&gt;
and the discussion board posts just waiting to be discovered.&lt;br /&gt;

If you're not currently having fun but are bored out of your mind with&lt;br /&gt;
your current approach, you might want to consider looking at how you are&lt;br /&gt;
playing the game.&lt;br /&gt;

 A Hot Line From Hell   Circles member, Drom, has decided to kill him the &lt;br /&gt;
                        first chance she gets. Why? She considers him to  &lt;br /&gt;
be the ultimate insult to good taste in clothes. Obviously, Drom does not&lt;br /&gt;
belong to those who make it their destiny to shimmer.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
And speaking of shimmering, the self-same Sir Percy -- in between running&lt;br /&gt;
from Drom -- was spotted ordering wedding catalogues and magazines,&lt;br /&gt;
although he's a married. As I nudged him gently with a four-by-four hint,&lt;br /&gt;
he would only confess as much as that he had promised to 'handle&lt;br /&gt;
everything' for a friend who is getting married soon. Poor guy. The groom&lt;br /&gt;
to be, that is, not Sir Percy who is indubitably having a jolly good ball&lt;br /&gt;
with it all.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Percy generally happens to have a hand in everything lately, although it&lt;br /&gt;
should be mentioned for his wife, Lady Aemilia Blakeney's sake, that he&lt;br /&gt;
has not yet had a hand in free enterprise champion Briarwen -- or is that&lt;br /&gt;
a hand on? -- yet, not for lack of the lady's trying. Briarwen does&lt;br /&gt;
appear a tad distracted, though, by the drama in her own life caused by&lt;br /&gt;
Jakov Alekseyevitch's apparent inability (or lack of desire) to choose&lt;br /&gt;
between Briarwen herself and his other suitress, Sheyda of far-off desert&lt;br /&gt;
realms.&lt;br /&gt;

          The Washed Up Losers clan was formed on June 30, 2003.&lt;br /&gt;

                           A Squire's Test&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Travelling around, searching for a good deed I came upon a city plagued&lt;br /&gt;
by zombies and skeletons. Seeing this as an opportunity for a good deed,&lt;br /&gt;
I went right after the centre of evil. Little did I know that it was the&lt;br /&gt;
Grendel supported mage named Cheap.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Seeing as I was outmatched by his army of undead, I retreated to gather my&lt;br /&gt;
powers and again attempt an attack. This time Cheap was not so passive,&lt;br /&gt;
we clashed in Tara and proceeded to deal blows to each other. Each of us&lt;br /&gt;
retreating to heal. After some time though, I came to face him upon water&lt;br /&gt;
and payed the price for my foolishness as the waves he summoned up&lt;br /&gt;
blasted me and my boat to pieces.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Faced with this defeat my inspiration to fight against evil only grows,&lt;br /&gt;
awaiting my next test where I shall hopefully be the victor.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

The Wardens of the King look to have been busy defending their king this&lt;br /&gt;
week as they had the most members active on the PK scene this week. The&lt;br /&gt;
Infernals, Grendels and the Knights of Legend all tied for having the&lt;br /&gt;
second most active members. The Necromancers and Society of Allies were&lt;br /&gt;
next, each with a pair of members seen in the action. The Fields of&lt;br /&gt;
Albion, USL, Seven Circles, The Syndicate, The Hermetic Order, The&lt;br /&gt;
Institute of Healing Arts and Clan Smashum each had one member involved&lt;br /&gt;
in pkill in the last week.&lt;br /&gt;

In the past week there were 43 pk-related deaths involving 30 different&lt;br /&gt;
characters. Of those 30 characters, 10 of them were accept all and 8 of&lt;br /&gt;
them were PKE at the time. There were 6 pke vs pke battles that ended in&lt;br /&gt;
death. There are 39 PKE characters total. So come on, let's get YOUR name&lt;br /&gt;
up in lights! We can't report on it if you don't tell us about it!&lt;br /&gt;

                Star Gazing Part I - Echoes of the Past&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It was a clear starry night over the grassy hills of Sherwood. Jaid lay&lt;br /&gt;
in the dampening grass, staring up at the sky. The stars, the moon,&lt;br /&gt;
reminding him of his blurry past. Before long, Jaid began to drift off&lt;br /&gt;
into slumber, but the echoes of the past began to haunt his dreams....&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
                             -=-=-=-=-&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Jaid does not remember much of his childhood. All that is remembered if&lt;br /&gt;
you ask him as that he had a father once, that was of the mystical,&lt;br /&gt;
ancient race of the Celestials, and a mother, who came from the ancient&lt;br /&gt;
Elven homeland of Suldanesselar. Not long after his birth, it is said&lt;br /&gt;
that his Father left to go back to the homeland of the Celestials,&lt;br /&gt;
leaving his mother to raise him. Not long after birth, it was apparent by&lt;br /&gt;
Jaid's eyes that he was not of pure elven blood, and he was exiled from&lt;br /&gt;
his homeland. With no mother and no father, Jaid was left to fend for&lt;br /&gt;
himself when he was but a mere boy.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
After spending a couple of days in the wild, walking along the barely&lt;br /&gt;
traveled trade routes, surviving off of berries and dirty water, Jaid saw&lt;br /&gt;
a wagon full of furs parked beside one of the paths. Not knowing where it&lt;br /&gt;
was heading, but deciding it was better than being stranded here, Jaid&lt;br /&gt;
crawled into the wagon, hiding under the furs. The owner of the wagon&lt;br /&gt;
came back, none the wiser, and took off again, bound for the forests of&lt;br /&gt;
Canada.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Jaid slept under the furs for two more days, starving, tired, dehydrated,&lt;br /&gt;
and scared. The wagon finally came to a stop along the forests of Canada,&lt;br /&gt;
and the owner got off the wagon, and walked a small ways into the forest.&lt;br /&gt;
Jaid, taking this opportunity, uncovered himself, and walked away into&lt;br /&gt;
the forest in the opposite direction. A few more days later, a young&lt;br /&gt;
doctor was strolling through the forest, collecting medicinal herbs for&lt;br /&gt;
the men back at the fort, and came across a young green haired child&lt;br /&gt;
sleeping against a tree trunk. The child was so deathly thin and pale,&lt;br /&gt;
the doctor picked him up and carried him back to the fort with his herb&lt;br /&gt;
shipment.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
'He cannot stay here!' boomed a male voice, waking Jaid from his slumber.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
'But he has nowhere to go! He was abandoned in the woods! Just look at&lt;br /&gt;
him! He has been starved, and will not survive another night out there!&lt;br /&gt;
We can't just throw him out to the wolves!'&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It was the doctor, defending Jaid. Being quite confused about what was&lt;br /&gt;
going on, Jaid fell back into a deep sleep. During his slumber the men&lt;br /&gt;
argued on into the night, and finally, they agreed to let Jaid stay&lt;br /&gt;
there, but he was going to have to be the doctor's responsibility. Jaid&lt;br /&gt;
awoke the next morning to a nice hot breakfast. Breads, cheeses, cooked&lt;br /&gt;
meats, milk, you name it. He devoured the food as if he had not eaten for&lt;br /&gt;
a week, which coincidentally, he almost hadn't. The doctor explained to&lt;br /&gt;
him that he had found him asleep in the woods, and that he wouldn't&lt;br /&gt;
survive out there alone.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It took Jaid a while to get used to being around these strange men, in&lt;br /&gt;
this strange fort, in the middle of a strange land, but after some time&lt;br /&gt;
he began to adjust, and think of the Doctor, and some of the nicer&lt;br /&gt;
soldiers, as his new family. Finally, after being abandoned by his&lt;br /&gt;
father, and exiled by his own race, Jaid had found a family.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
Jaid awoke from his terribly real dream, and tears began to stream down&lt;br /&gt;
his cheeks. He wondered why his father would abandon him, why the elves,&lt;br /&gt;
his own people, would exile him, and why he ever left the fort in Canada.&lt;br /&gt;
The only family that had accepted him, he had left behind, in search of&lt;br /&gt;
those who had abandoned him....&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
                     Confusion and Frustration&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
She glanced at him from the corner of her eye, grateful that the veil hid&lt;br /&gt;
her expression, as she was sure her emotions were plain on her face.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He was standing close to the barmaid, reassuring her of his affection as&lt;br /&gt;
far as she could tell. She bit her lower lip. It wasn't like she wasn't&lt;br /&gt;
willing to share him, after all that was common practice in her homeland&lt;br /&gt;
- but she didn't like feeling insecure, and that was exactly what he did&lt;br /&gt;
- holding her hand and kissing her one moment and ignoring her because&lt;br /&gt;
the barmaid entered the room the next.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
She turned her gaze to the barmaid. Apparently, this was the sort of&lt;br /&gt;
woman he fancied; hardly dressed and flirting left and right, even when&lt;br /&gt;
it was obvious it hurt him. Why couldn't he see life would be so much&lt;br /&gt;
better if they were together? Her interest was in him alone and she had&lt;br /&gt;
never felt this strongly about anyone before in her life. But if that was&lt;br /&gt;
what he wanted...perhaps her blouse could have a lower neckline. She&lt;br /&gt;
blushed, once again glad the veil hid her face.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
She looked up at the stars, trying to find the usual comfort in the sky.&lt;br /&gt;
Nothing. She did not want to change to make him love her, but it still&lt;br /&gt;
broke her heart to think that he'd be living with her while he was making&lt;br /&gt;
up his mind about who he loved the most - the barmaid had all the&lt;br /&gt;
advantages. That is, if that was even what he had been trying to tell her&lt;br /&gt;
- sign language and drawing in the sand can only explain simple things.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
She sighed and turned her face to regard him again, only to find he was&lt;br /&gt;
looking at her. Their eyes met and she could see his eyes soften.&lt;br /&gt;
Apparently, her inner turmoil was in her eyes and he understood.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The barmaid snorted at the lack of attention, he averted his eyes and&lt;br /&gt;
didn't see the tear rolling down her face. He left with the barmaid, and&lt;br /&gt;
she stayed asking her questions of the moon and stars.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
She would be patient.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
