VARIOUS CHANGES
Various mobs including captains have been given some extra fighting abilities
to keep things lively. You may also find mobs fighting back a little better
when they are blinded.
The new trans mob for the Order of the Scroll is fixed and will be functional
at next reboot.
The trans mobs and halls are in for the Assassins and the Anti-paladins. Be
warned that this latter clan looks rather belligerent.

LEGENDMUD T SHIRTS
We've decided to go ahead with t-shirts to celebrate the first year of
LegendMUD. The design is a four-color world map framed by an altered version
of the LegendMUD logo, with the words "History as it should have been" on
thr back, and on the front pocket, the LegendMUD logo.
In order for these shirts to even be possible, we are going to have to ask
for prepayment. So before we go ahead with any plans, we would like to ask
for pre-orders to determine whether we can afford this at all. Please send
email as follows if you are interested in the shirts, and please tell us
how many and what sizes:

The bridal shower was reputedly made more interesting by the presence of a
decidedly drunk Dusty, who led the group in singing a few raunchy songs and
in male-bashing and then passed out once or twice crying, presumably over
Greyscot. Eva described her as "annoying" but presumably Rusalka and Katya
found her less so as they volunteered to carry her to an inn after the party
was over.

BART AND RUSALKA'S WEDDING
Parrilyn officiated; Hunter_Rose was best man; Katya was matron of honor.
Attendees included: Ramadan, Tigger, Sylia, Llew, Shelby, Forrest, Zair,
Hayden, Chrysania, Bay_El-Lor, Angus, Azarias, an air sprite, Rory, Belnos,
Wraith, Luki, Eretz, Dusty, Greyscot, Caesar, Ptah, Kaige, Ibn, Jove, Magiar,
Hrothgar, Bomber, and Obmig and a stray Pookah.
The Dusty Crossroads

Eretz begins to play Bride of Sligo Town on a silver flute; you are totally
captivated. The music fascinates you, and Eretz's skill at his instrument is
astonishing. You feel transported, and when the music ends, it is almost
painful to hear the silence.
Hayden joins in on a silver flute.
Luki joins in on a wood recorder.
Dusty joins in on a beautiful Stradivarius.
Greyscot joins in on a bone flute.
Hunter_Rose has arrived from the north.
Katya has arrived from the north.
Rusalka has arrived from the north riding a horse.
Bart beams at Rusalka delightedly.
Rusalka's pale green eyes are alight with a solemn joy, and you sense
that on this day, at least, old sorrows no longer haunt her. Wildflowers
are woven into her long, unbound hair, which radiates in a tumbled mass
about her person, its hue reflected by the copper that she wears. Her
dress and adornment are striking in their simplicity and she walks
barefoot. Yet the orb of light which she bears reminds you of her status
among the Hermetics, and although she must crane her neck upward in order to
meet Bart's gaze, she stands tall.
Rusalka is wearing: a glowing orb of light, a twisted gold ring, a yarrow
amulet, a pretty shawl, a chemise, a garland of flowers, a blue skirt, a pair
of copper anklets, a bodice, a brightly colored sash, a copper bracelet, a
bracelet of woven tormentil, a nosegay of a few marigolds, a beautiful
amethyst earring of a swan, and a veil.
Rusalka's beauty nearly knocks you off your chair. A beautiful bride she
makes.
Dusty plays a little descant for Rusalka on a beautiful Stradivarius.
Bart bows before Rusalka.
Rusalka blushes bright red.
Belnos says, 'Isn't she gorgeous!?!'
Bart nods his agreement with Belnos.
Hunter_Rose helps Rusalka off her horse.
Parrilyn says to Eretz, 'Thank you, Master Bard'
Eretz bows deeply.
Rusalka gulps nervously.
Bart smiles at Rusalka.

Hunter_Rose brings Rusalka up to where Bart awaits.
Katya arranges Rusalka's train carefully, stepping to the side when done.
Parrilyn says, '...between two of our dear friends...'
Parrilyn says, '...Rusalka, Guild Mistress of the Hermetic Order...'
Parrilyn says, '...and Bart, a Knight Protector of the Hermetic Order and
Justiciar of the Clan Connaught.'
Hunter_Rose steps over to where Katya is, and she beams at him delightedly.
Parrilyn says, 'Who gives this woman to be wed?'
Parrilyn looks at Hunter_Rose questioningly.
Tigger and Katya both poke Hunter_Rose in the ribs.
Hunter_Rose looks up, caught off guard, and says, 'I do.'
Parrilyn smiles and thanks Hunter_Rose.
Parrilyn says to Hunter_Rose, 'You may be seated now.'
Hunter_Rose sits down on a chair.
Katya sits down on a chair and beams at Hunter_Rose delightedly.
Hunter_Rose holds Katya's hand tenderly.
Parrilyn says to Bart and Rusalka, "Please join hands."
Bart takes his beloved's hand tenderly.
Rusalka sighs wistfully at the sight of Bart.
Bart beams at Rusalka delightedly.
Katya sighs wistfully at the sight of Rusalka and Bart.
Parrilyn says to Bart and Rusulka, "Have you two brought tokens of your love
for one another?"
Rusalka and Bart both nod solemnly.
Parrilyn says, 'May I have them?'
Tigger gives a gold wedding band to Bart.
Rusalka gives a plain gold wedding band to Parrilyn.
Bart gives a gold wedding band to Parrilyn.
Parrilyn says a small blessing over the rings, invoking the almighty one's
favor upon the couple.
Parrilyn says to Rusalka, 'Do you promise to love and cherish Bart?'
Rusalka says to Parrilyn, 'I do.'
Parrilyn says to Rusalka, 'Do you promise to be faithful to him and to be at
his side in times of good and bad?'
Rusalka says to Parrilyn, 'I do.'
Parrilyn smiles at Rusalka.
Bart smiles happily.
Dusty sniffs sadly.
Parrilyn says to Bart, 'Do you promise to love and cherish Rusalka?'
Bart says, 'I do '
Rusalka sniffs.

Katya pulls out her handkerchief and dabs at her eyes.
Hunter_Rose puts his arm around Katya and holds her dearly to him.
Bay_El-Lor tries to unobstrusively wipe away a tear.
Eretz sighs loudly.
Chrysania smiles at Bart.
Forrest sniffs sadly.
Tigger comforts Forrest.
Forrest cries on Tigger's shoulder.
Parrilyn says to Bart and Rusalka, 'Do you both promise to teach your children
the teachings of Sulieman?
Rusalka says to Parrilyn, 'Truly, I do'
Bart says to Rusalka, 'I do'
Dusty says, 'Suleiman?'
Angus snorts derisively.
Chrysania whispers quietly to Dusty.
Hayden whispers quietly to Dusty.
Dusty doesn't care if he's Solomon... she wants to know if the kids are having
music lessons.
Bart chuckles politely.
Rusalka nods her agreement with Dusty.
Eretz chuckles politely.
Hunter_Rose smiles at Dusty.
Chrysania giggles.
Rusalka says to Dusty, 'Violin at age 3'
Katya beams at Dusty delightedly.
Dusty giggles.
Dusty smiles at Rusalka.
Parrilyn gives a gold wedding band to Rusalka.

Everyone goes wild cheering, some sniffing back tears of joy.
Rice falls down from the heavens around the happy couple.
Several people toss more rice at the happy couple.
Belnos yells, 'Hooray for Bart!!'

Hayden begins to play Oh Happy Day on a silver flute; you are totally
captivated. The music fascinates you, and Hayden's skill at his instrument is
astonishing. You feel transported, and when the music ends, it is almost
painful to hear the silence.

Rusalka smiles happily.
Bart and Rusalka share a warm and loving embrace, how sweet!
Eretz plays Oh Happy Day on a silver flute--he is quite good at it.
Everyone crowds around Bart and Rusalka hugging, congratulating and offering
best wishes for their happiness.

Hayden yells, 'HURRAY FOR RUSALKA AND BART !'

Parrilyn raises her eyebrow at Bart.

Parrilyn says, 'Please get a safe escort out if you need it.'
The Feast Hall
A large ten tier wedding cake decorated with roses, marigolds, and ribbons is
here making your mouth water.
A battered white porcelain drinking fountain is attached on one wall.
Someone has abandoned a cask on the ground here.
A long buffet table filled with munchies is here.
A banner hangs from the roof: "Congratulations Bart and Rusalka - from
everyone at Clan Connaught."

java oranges, and a bunch of olives.
Eretz says, 'Good evening, Ladies and Germans, And I apologize for that
punch Klein.'
Eretz says, 'I just flew in from Bengal and boy are my arms tired!'
You hear a tha-dump-ching from somewhere.
Eretz says, 'But seriously, folks, its a pleasure to be here at the dun
tonight. We celebrate the wedding of Russalka and Bart and I know you
want to get on with the festivities.
Eretz says, 'First we have a little musical entertainment. First, a song
called "Staying Alive" in tribute to the little people--not the
elves and leprechauns, but the Newbies--and finally, "Here's to you
Rusalka and Bart," based on the Joan Baez tune.'
Eretz says 'First, we'd like to play for you our newbie version of
"Staying Alive":'
Eretz sings, accompanied by his fellow bards,
'The mobiles try to kill us,
The storekeepers they bill us,
Its a wonder we're not always dead!
The helpfiles mislead us,

Bart goes EEK! at Dusty in distress - isn't Dusty an awful person for teasing?
Sylia withdraws inward and begins chanting under her breath.
Dusty disappears suddenly.
Dusty has arrived in a puff of smoke.
Dusty tosses her hair away from her face.
Sylia tries to look innocent
Dusty slaps Sylia.
Dusty says to Bart, 'I was trying to hug you and say I was kidding, but no,
some people would not give me the chance'
Dusty grumbles.
Obmig says, 'Does everyone have some champagne?'

The couple extends happy thanks to all who aided Bart in his quests.
Rusalka would also like to know who was the kind person who gave them a tree
earring as a wedding present. The name card seems to have vanished, and she
has no way of writing the thank you note.
